1. Register your domain name.

Your Domain Name should reflect the intent of your web site, Business Name, Mission, etc. We will probably work on that first thing by finding out what's available. Registering the most appropriate name or names so no one else can use them. It's just a matter of what's available.

2. Hosting your web pages.

The hosting service the Ace Base web design has been utilizing came to be only after finding that they have proven to be very reliable and offer all required from a design standpoint. Features include: CGI-BIN and library, PHP 4&5, Perl Scripts, MySQL Databases, SSL Secure Server, Real Audio & Video, Macromedia Shockwave, MIDI File Support, MIME Types, Password Protection and more. It also includes a very robust e-mail system allowing for POP accounts, Webmail and e-mail forwarding.

The Ace Base Annual fee for keeping your registration current and for hosting your web pages is $185.00. I'm sure you will find this a very reasonable price.

3. Designing your web site.

Here's where we need a lot of input from you. It's a good idea to try and outline your web site ideas. The outline Main points would become the main menu. Then add text and pictures that explain each point. You want to cover the basics Who, What, When, Where, How. A general rule of thumb is about what would fit on a regular sheet of paper (pictures and text) will cost around $100 to convert to a web page.

Look at what you already have, stationary, letter heads, business cards. There should be some sort of continuity by Reusing graphics you already have. Keep it to the point on the home page. Give the details on additional pages. Answer the most common questions.
